Terms & Conditions

Client Agreement
I, owner/manager, of this property (hereafter referred to as CLIENT) hereby acknowledge that any, and all, areas to be serviced by 501 Pressure Washing (Christian Olson, and employees) (hereafter referred to as 501PW) are up to proper standards for cleaning (sealed, secured, water tight, and up to current electrical & building codes) and if there is any pre-existing damaged areas or materials they will be brought to the attention of 501PW to avoid any further damage. 501PW is not responsible for leaks caused by faulty window seals. If there is any damage due to an underlying condition/circumstance that was unknown, prior to servicing, 501PW is not responsible. CLIENT understands the following:

1. It is their responsibility to provide access to the property as well as a steady water supply.

2. If at all possible, to cut power to any and all exterior electrical sockets and/or electrical fixtures (lights, ceiling fans, etc.) We do mask off outlets, keyholes, cameras, etc.

3. “Soft” washing has the main objective of removing ORGANIC growth, and that some inorganic stains/discolorations/oxidation may remain afterward. Hard to clean deposits such as dirt dobber nests in high corners may not be able to be removed completely as spraying too much water in one area can possibly let water enter the home. Complete removal of such deposits will require hand scrubbing / separate charge. Dirt dobber nests often times damage the paint on “hardie board” siding, and leave rust stains on vinyl.

4. Surface cleaning may not always be able to remove 100% of stains (mineral, grease, oil, acid, gum, paint, and other inorganic deposits) from concrete. Some concrete may have failing sealers or coatings that may contribute to uneven appearance before and after surface cleaning.

5. Any concrete/aggregate to be cleaned has been poured and set a minimum of 12 months prior to servicing.

6. “Zebra stripes” (Oxidation/paint failure/asphaltic staining) on gutters may remain after cleaning, and can only be removed with an additional restoration treatment as it is not organic in nature. Not all gutters are candidates for restoration. This restoration treatment actually removes a layer of the failed coating to expose the good underneath. As gutters age, the paint gets thinner and we will have less to work with. (Risk of going down to bare metal.)

7. If the area being cleaned is heavily oxidized, the hazy appearance may remain afterwards and/or there may be a difference in uniform color throughout…which is due to the deterioration of pigments in the finish, not by the cleaning process. (Example: siding exposed to sunlight all day with chalky residue when wiped)

8. If any of the surfaces to be cleaned have been painted or stained, aged paint/stain or improper sealing may result in said paint flaking off or discoloring in some areas.

9. 501PW is not responsible for damage to any items (decorative, electrical, furniture, upholstery, etc.) that have not been either removed, or moved away from, the areas needing to be cleaned by the home owner / property manager themselves.

10. Areas to be cleaned should be free of obstructions. If any obstructions (trees, overgrown vegetation, personal items, building supplies, etc.) remain against/near an area to be cleaned, 501PW is not to be held responsible for incomplete work or damaged vegetation due to said obstructions.

11. Payment is to be made immediately upon completion of work for residential homes, privately owned rental properties, or privately owned commercial/business property. Corporations and businesses have 7 days to pay in full.

12. CLIENT is not responsible in any way for personal injuries to 501PW arising from work.

13. 501PW is not responsible for water spots on siding, windows, etc due to hard water or minerals in the water. We can refer you to a window cleaner if you wish to have spotless windows. That being said, 95% of the time we do not have
a problem.

14. Drainage issues. If the property does not drain water as it should, there may be leftover debris on porches, driveways, etc. 501PW will not be responsible for cleaning up low, non-draining areas as it is a never ending battle. If you have drainage issues and want the area completely clean, we suggest contacting a landscaper / concrete company to fix before scheduling.

15. Pre-existing issues. Surfaces that have previous damage; Oxidation, pressure washer damage, sun fading, ghosting of studs through vinyl siding, paint failure, etc. Soft washing of these surfaces may uncover such damage and make it appear more pronounced than before. In some cases the organic buildup hides imperfections.
