A lot of Vilonia is newer than it looks on paper.
Vilonia sits about thirteen miles east of Conway on Highway 64, higher than the city at roughly 569 feet, spread across the rolling upland around the forks of Cypress Creek. A large share of its housing and public buildings are recent, because the town was rebuilt after the 2011 and 2014 tornadoes.

The town is spread over undulating upland rather than a flat plain, which means elevation and aspect vary a good deal between one street and the next. A house on a rise catches sun on three sides. A house down in one of the creek valleys can have two elevations that barely see it, and those are the walls that need doing.
The rebuild left the town with a patchwork of cleared subdivision land and remaining woodland. Newer developments started fairly open, with young landscaping and plenty of light on the walls. Older streets and the rural edges kept their mature trees, and the difference in how fast growth returns between those two situations is large.
Roofs are worth a look in Vilonia for a specific reason: a lot of them went on at roughly the same time during reconstruction, which means a whole neighbourhood can reach the age where streaking appears within a season or two of each other. Shingle is soft washed at under 100 PSI, never with a wand, because the granules are the part doing the work.
