Spread out, set back, and mostly under trees.
Guy covers nearly seven square miles for around 750 people, which tells you most of what you need to know: houses sit well apart, back off the road down long drives, on wooded ridges and pasture at about 679 feet — a good deal higher than Conway.

Height and hardwoods
Up on the ridges the weather sits differently.
Elevation and mature hardwood cover change the exterior-cleaning picture here compared with the flatter Highway 65 corridor below. Draws and hollows hold cool damp air, ridge tops catch more wind and dry faster, and a house can have one elevation in permanent shadow while another is exposed all day.
Homes set back down long wooded driveways get a double dose of it. Overhanging limbs drop leaf litter and keep the approach damp, so the drive itself often shows growth more obviously than the house does — and on a rural property that drive is a long strip of concrete or gravel that anyone visiting sees first.
The housing is chiefly single-storey and mixed in material: older frame and vinyl homes, brick ranches, manufactured homes, and newer custom builds on acreage. Vinyl and mixed exteriors are more common here than the uniform brick of the bigger suburbs, and vinyl shows growth earlier and more visibly.

Can you get to a house at the end of a long drive?
Yes. Mention it when you call if the drive is steep or very narrow so the right setup comes out first time.
Why does my drive go green faster than my neighbour’s?
Usually overhanging trees. A shaded strip of concrete stays damp for days after rain, and that is all the algae needs.
Do you cover the Woolly Hollow side?
Yes. The north Faulkner County country is a normal run, along with Greenbrier and Damascus.
